Jennifer Pitchers is a Suffolk based painter. She uses dream interpretation, free association, and automatic drawing to translate the interaction of the conscious and unconscious. Enjoying an internal negotiation between fantasy and paradox, self-truths surface to reveal a transient and personal complexity that drives her work. Her work moves fluidly between mediums, each piece arriving with its own visual language and
internal logic, resisting fixed outcomes in favour of something more contingent and self-defined.
